Curcuma is a tropical bulb plant belonging to the zingiberazeae (ginger) family. There are many species found in parts of thailand, Laos, Cambodia and south china. 

Chiangmai pink is one of the most outstanding variety in the European Union due to its distinctive flower character and long shelf life . Flower can be used as a cut flower and plant also used as an indoor pot plant. This variety is popular as a pot and bedding plant.
